Diverse Moods 2.0 exhibited at Gateway Gallery

As a celebration of father and daughter connection, a collaborative art exhibit of father and daughter artists Bobby Malig Santos and Jasmine Therese Santos will be mounted at the Gateway Gallery on October 14, titled “Diverse Moods 2.0.”

Diverse Moods 2.0 is a celebration of the ways in which creativity can be a bridged connecting generation. It is the exquisite interplay between two distinct voices. Artists Bobby and Jasmine's styles and themes created a captivating dialogue that transcends the boundaries of generation and experience.

With each brushstroke, this father-daughter duo invites us into their world, where the echoes of the past harmonize with the pulse of the present, creating a symphony of visual storytelling that leaves an indelible mark on the heart and mind.

The story of their exhibit draws back to their family’s story of moving into a new home. Bobby and Jasmine wanted to fill the unadorned walls of their home with their paintings. This also allowed them to rekindle with their passion for visual arts, and their skills in oil painting.

Even though they are biologically connected to each other, Bobby and Jasmine have different artistic styles and techniques. Bobby’s works are a combination of nature paintings and pop culture, while her daughter Jasmine is into contemporary figurative art style.

Diverse Moods 2.0 will run from October 14 to October 28, at the Gateway Gallery, Araneta City. The exhibit is free and open to the public from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
