Pinoy pop creates big mark in entertainment with 2022 PPOP CON
OPM history is made this year as the biggest and hottest PPOP idols of today's generation filled Araneta City with their captivating sounds and electrifying performances for the highly-anticipated 2022 PPOP CON.
Sixteen Pinoy pop groups and their fans come together on April 9 and 10 to celebrate the first and largest entertainment event that celebrates PPOP and elevates OPM on the international scene.
SB19, MNL48, BGYO, BINI, 4th Impact, Alamat, Press Hit Play, and 1ST.ONE top-billed the music celebration with their larger-than-life performances at the PPOP CON concert in Araneta Coliseum. The concert marks the return of live entertainment scene at the historic Big Dome after the pandemic.
VXON, KAIA, PPOP Generation, Daydream, R Rules, G22, Calista, and DIONE provided entertainment that thrilled the audience at the 2-day PPOP CON convention in New Frontier Theater. The convention also featured fanbase activities, booths, selling of official merch, and games that added delight to the fans.
"Our first PPOP CON is surely a hit! We all had an amazing time. All PPOP acts are very thrilled to have brought joy to their supporters, and to have showcased their talents and passion through this event," said Andhie Salutin, Project head of PPOP Con.
Excited fans got the chance to meet their idols, interact with their PPOP biases, and enjoy a much-awaited live music experience to celebrate the globally-rising Pinoy pop music. All performances were also made available for livestream for the benefit of PPOP fans outside the said entertainment venues.
