Experience the Christmas bliss at Araneta City
This holiday season, Araneta City welcomes families and friends to experience Christmas Bliss: Making New Memories through a festive celebration that blends the warmth of cherished holiday traditions and the excitement of fresh, unforgettable moments.
As one of the metro’s most beloved Christmas destinations, Araneta City promises a joyful mix of nostalgia and new attractions, designed to make every visit an opportunity to create memories that will be treasured by all.
“We believe the holiday season is a time to spread joy and warmth, and that’s what the City of Firsts embodies. With each light, every event, and all the decorations, we want all Araneta City-zens to feel the magic of Christmas,” said Marjorie Go, VP for Marketing of Araneta City.
The festive ambiance comes alive with the star-studded lighting on November 14 of the iconic Giant Christmas tree, now standing in its original location where the tradition began in 1981. Standing 75 feet tall and 25 feet wide, this much-awaited magnificent tree is adorned with 3,000 pine garlands and 8,000 bright lights and colorful ornaments to make it the fitting heart and soul of the holiday season. It shines brightly between two equally iconic landmarks—the Smart Araneta Coliseum and the Fiesta Carnival.
The season glows even more radiant with other must-see traditional Christmas attractions in Araneta City. The annual Parolan bazaar opened in October near Farmers Garden to serve as a convenient shopping destination for Christmas lights, decors, and ornaments. The giant Belen beside Farmers Plaza is set to be lighted on November 22, while other holiday spectacles like the fireworks and Santa and friends mall parade are set to happen in the coming weekends.
Adding to Araneta City's holiday attractions is the Fiesta Carnival, the beloved indoor amusement park of yesteryear. Since its reopening last year, the iconic attraction features a wider array of modern exciting rides and activities for the entertainment of both the older and younger audiences. Fiesta Carnival is open daily starting 10AM.
And to make this season even more blissful, Araneta City is also holding the "70 Gifts for 70 Years" online promo, a weekly giveaway that gives back to the community in honor of the City of Firsts' seven-decade anniversary. Shoppers participating in this promo have the chance to win exclusive prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the Christmas season and offering even more reasons to visit, shop, and celebrate with family and friends at Araneta City.
“This Christmas, we’re bringing together beloved traditions and new surprises to create a holiday experience that every visitor can treasure. Araneta City is more than a destination; it’s a place where happy and fun memories are made,” Go said.
