STRIKE FOR SUCCESS EVENT MECHANICS

On January 29, 2025, every purchase from any Araneta City establishment (Gateway Mall 1 & 2/Tower, Ali Mall, Farmers Plaza, Farmers Market, Coliseum Circle Restaurants, New Frontier Theater Arcade, Telus Arcade, Cyberpark Tower 1, Cyberpark Tower 2 Arcade, Fiesta Carnival Arcade Restaurants, Araneta City Busport, and Manhattan Parkway/Parkview/Plaza/Heights Arcades) entitles the customer to one (1) event pass to the Strike for success event and a chance to register in the Zodiac Runway costume contest or Jigsaw puzzle competition. 

NOTE: Only original copies of official receipts, paper tape receipts, cash or sale invoices with tax identification numbers (TIN) dated January 29, 2025, are considered valid; Receipts from The SM Store, Puregold, and Isetann are not included in this promo. Reprinted receipt copies, invoices from the purchase of gift certificates, payment of courier services, money transfer services, networking dealership purchase, remittance, payment of mobile bills, telephone bills, electric and other utility bills, credit card & the like are NOT valid in this promo. Araneta City reserves the right to refuse defaced, crumpled, and tampered receipts.

HOW TO JOIN:

Customers must present: • P1,500 single-receipt at Gateway Mall 1 & 2, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM to claim an event pass. 

Each child with an event pass can avail of the following:

• Strictly one transaction per receipt only. For receipts worth P1,500 and up, only a maximum of 2 event passes shall be given regardless of the total amount purchased.

JIGSAW PUZZLE COMPETITION

Terms and Conditions 

• Customer must present P1,500 single-receipt at the Gateway Mall 1 registration booth from 12:00nn-1:45pm.

• Participants to the jigsaw puzzle competition will be in pair (12yo to 18yo only), also referred to as Doubles.

• Participants will be allowed to bring puzzling paraphernalia to the tournament area but limited to sorting trays, task lights, photo/video cameras, and snacks.

• The cut off period of the registration for the jigsaw puzzle competition is until 1:45pm only. 

Tournament Proper

• Game Marshals will distribute the tournament jigsaw puzzle boxes to the participants.

• Unless specifically told to do so, at the official start of the tournament and game timer, participants cannot handle, unseal, or open the jigsaw puzzle boxes.

• Participants must solve their jigsaw puzzles within two (2) hours.

• The first three (3) participants/doubles who finish solving their puzzles before the maximum allotted time will be the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. They will receive corresponding cash prizes.

• In case the maximum allotted time has expired and no one has completed their puzzles, Game Marshals will count the remaining loose/unattached pieces of each participant. Participants with the least number of unattached pieces are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

• The winners will be announced at the end of the event. Claim certificates will be given to the winners upon declaration. 

1st Place - P5,000 cash

2nd Place - P3,000 cash

3rd Place - P1,000 cash 

• After the top three winners are declared, other participants may opt to stay inside the tournament area to finish their puzzles. Game Marshals will continue to monitor and record completion times until the official end of the event. Participants may also opt to finish their puzzles at home.

• Participants will be allowed to leave the competition area, one at a time, for two-minute bathroom breaks. They must advise the Game Marshals beforehand.

• Participants will bring home their game puzzles as tokens from the tournament. 

ZODIAC RUNWAY CONTEST MECHANICS

• Customer must present P1,500 single-receipt at the Farmers Plaza registration booth from 12:00nn-1:45pm.

• Kids aged 5 to 18 are welcome to join the “Zodiac Runway” Costume Contest.

• Cut off period for the registration of the costume contest is until 1:45PM only.

• The theme for the costume contest is "Zodiac Signs". Participants should come in their original, unique, and creative costumes.

• The criteria for judging are as follows:

Originality (concept)...............................40%

Creativity(execution)…………………….….30%

Relevance to the theme…………….……...20%

Audience impact.....................................10%

TOTAL.......................................................100%

• The winners will be announced at the end of the event. In case of a tie, the final winner shall be determined through judges' deliberation. A DTI representative shall witness the determination of winners.

1st Prize- P 5,000

2nd Prize- P3,000

5 Consolation Prizes (4th – 8 th place)- P 1,000

• Claim certificates will be given to the winners upon declaration.

By joining the promo, the customer agrees with Araneta City’s privacy policy. All Araneta City employees, staff members and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the contest.
