Happening at Araneta City

• On September 18, 2022, every P500 single-receipt purchase from any Araneta City establishment (Gateway Mall/Tower, Ali Mall, New Farmers Plaza, Farmers Market, Coliseum Circle Restaurants, New Frontier Theater Arcade, Telus Arcade, Cyberpark Tower 1, Cyberpark Tower 2 Arcade, Shopwise Arcade Restaurants, Araneta City Bus Station, and Manhattan Parkway/Parkview/Plaza/Heights Arcades) entitles the customers to join the Chess Tournament.
  NOTE: Only original copies of official receipts, paper tape receipts, cash or sale invoices with tax identification numbers (TIN) dated September 16-18, 2022 are considered valid; Receipts from Shopwise, The SM Store, Puregold, and Isetann are not included in this promo. Reprinted receipt copies, invoices from the purchase of gift certificates,payment of courier services, money transfer services, networking dealership purchase, remittance, payment of mobile bills, telephone bills, electric and other utility bills, credit card & the like are NOT valid in this promo. Araneta City reserves the right to refuse defaced, crumpled, and tampered receipts.
• Customers must present their receipts at the Ali Mall, Activity Area registration booth on September 18, 2022 from 10:00AM-11:00AM to join the chess tournament. First come, first served.
• Strictly one transaction per receipt only. For receipt purchases worth P1000 and up, only a maximum of two (2) entrance passes shall be given regardless of the total purchase amount presented.

• Participants of all ages are welcome to join the chess tournament.
• Cutoff period for the registration of the chess tournament is until 11:00AM only.
• Each participant with an entrance pass will be entitled to play 7 games.
• Each participant will be paired based on their class standing at the start of the tournament. The class standing will be based on the status, title and FIDE rating of the player determined and assessed by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines.
• A participant will earn one (1) point for every win. At the end of the 1st round, a bracket system will be followed.
• At the end of the tournament, the participant with the highest number of points will win.

  • 2nd Runner Up - P3,000 cash
  • 3rd Runner Up - P2,000 worth of Pizza Hut GCs
  • 4th Runner Up - P1,000 worth of Pizza Hut GCs
• Basic Chess rules and regulations of the World Chess Federation and National Chess Federation of the Philippines will be observed and followed.
• Scorers, arbiters and the tournament directors from National Chess Federation of the Philippines will manage and oversee the tournament.
• All Araneta City employees, staff members and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the raffle promo.

• By joining the promo, the customer agrees with Araneta City’s privacy policy.
